Lexington, Ky is home to around 300,000 people (with 453,000 in the surrounding metropolitan area) and the University of Kentucky which consists of 30,000+ students and helps make for a lively nightlife, culture, and art scene.

Surrounded by the famous central Kentucky Bluegrass Region and green horse farms, Lexington holds the title of “Horse capital of the world” and boasts many famous racehorses.. Lexington, KY is also the future site of the 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games which is expected to draw as many as 300,000 mostly international visitors to the city.  This is the first time that the WEG have been held in the US so there is already a buzz of excitement and preparation around the city!
