Lexington Ky Lexington, Ky is home to around 300,000 people (with 453,000 in the surrounding metropolitan area) and the University of Kentucky which consists of 30,000+ students and helps make for a lively nightlife, culture, and art scene.

Surrounded by the famous central Kentucky Bluegrass Region and green horse farms, Lexington holds the title of “Horse capital of the world” and boasts many famous racehorses.. Lexington, KY is also the future site of the 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games which is expected to draw as many as 300,000 mostly international visitors to the city.  This is the first time that the WEG have been held in the US so there is already a buzz of excitement and preparation around the city!

During your stay you will find an excellent choice of restaurants, nightlife, culture, and entertainment. In 2008, Lexington, KY was named the 5th best city in the US for “business and career” by Forbes magazine. It was also given the title “5th best in the US for young professionals” by Kiplinger because of the multitude of business opportunities here.
