Bluegrass Airport Lexington
The Bluegrass Airport in Lexington, KY boasts one of the most beautiful air approaches in the country as you fly over expansive horse farms and fenced green fields.
The airport in Lexington is located at the junction of Man-o-War Boulevard and Versailles Rd about 4 miles west of downtown Lexington. Inside you will find all the amenities of larger airports including free wifi wireless, long term parking, and shops and eateries.
The Lexington Bluegrass Airport has been involved in a 66 million dollar renovation project which includes adding an extra runway and lots of interior upgrades to make flying more comfortable.
Airlines
The largest airline is Delta, but you will also find the following airlines operating out of Lexington’s airport:

- American Eagle
- Continental Express
- United Express
- US Airways Express
- AirTran (opened Feb 11, 2010)
and many others operated by Delta Connection.
Airport Parking
Parking for the first 30 minutes is free and $2 after that. Long term parking in the new garage is $10 a day. You can wait for arriving passengers in the cell phone lot for free.
Lexington Bluegrass Airport is also home to the interesting Aviation Museum of Kentucky which has several military airplanes and helicopters on display.
